Wie man aus alt neu macht und dabei den Design-Aspekt in den Vordergrund stellt, zeigt Christopher Paul in seinem Etsy Shop “Mod Mood”:

It’s great fun for me to look at used items and re-envision what they can become — to give them a beautiful second life. My shop contains all things (well nearly everything) recycled, repurposed, upcycled, eco-friendly or whatever label you prefer — you get the idea.

Wir bleiben bei der menschlichen Anatomie Die Architektin Zaha Hadid (in Österreich zB Hungerburgbahn-Station in Innsbruck) hat ein weiteres Modeprojekt auf ihre Liste gesetzt: Schuhe für Lacoste.

Und das sagt sie dazu:

“The design expression behind the collaboration with Lacoste footwear allows the evolution of dynamic fluid grids. When wrapped around the shape of a foot, these expand and contract to negotiate and adapt to the body ergonomically. In doing so, a landscape emerges, undulating and radiating as it merges seamlessly with the body.”

Die Schuhe werden (no na) in limitierter Auflage (1.000 Stk.) in (no na) ausgewählten Shops verkauft werden.

Immer gut und warm behütet ist man mit diesem cute-cute-cute Panda-Hut. Gefunden bei ShanaLogic. Gibts übrigens auch als Maus- und Bär-Hut. Aber der Panda rulez.

Die kalte Jahreszeit hat begonnen und das Herumlungern im Freien hat jetzt ein Ende (zumindest für diejenigen unter euch, denen es nicht so gut wie der Coolhunterin geht, die derzeit auf Bali weilt). Statt unnötig viel Geld für TV-Werbung beim Fenster raus zu werben investiert GAP in Social Media Tools:
The new ad campaign from The Gap, titled “Born to Fit,” includes no TV commercials, instead placing a greater emphasis on Web advertising and social media — Facebook, specifically — than any effort in the retailer’s history. Offline, there are print, cinema and outdoor ads, but all will drive consumers to the initiative’s Facebook page. The effort launched on Thursday, August 13.

Getreu dem Motto “alle Wege führen zu Gap” führt die URL www.borntofit.com auf die Facebook-Page. Interessanter Ansatz….
